Account Setup

After creating your account, follow these steps to configure SearchFit for your needs.

Creating Your Account

  1. Visit the sign up page
  2. Enter your email and create a password, or sign in with Google
  3. Verify your email address
  4. Complete your profile setup

Adding Your First Domain

Once logged in, add your primary domain:

  1. Navigate to DashboardDomains
  2. Click Add Domain
  3. Enter your domain name
  4. Optionally verify ownership for additional features

Domain Verification

Verifying domain ownership unlocks:

  • Historical tracking data
  • Automated monitoring
  • Integration with Search Console
  • Priority support

Verification methods:

  • DNS Record - Add a TXT record to your DNS
  • HTML File - Upload a verification file to your site
  • Meta Tag - Add a meta tag to your homepage

Configuring Notifications

Stay informed about your AI visibility:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Choose your notification preferences:
    • Email alerts for score changes
    • Weekly summary reports
    • Competitor movement alerts
    • New recommendation notifications

Team Access

Invite team members to collaborate:

  1. Navigate to SettingsTeam
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email and select a role:
    • Admin - Full access to all features
    • Editor - Can run reports and make changes
    • Viewer - Read-only access to reports

Billing Setup

Manage your subscription:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. View your current plan and usage
  3. Upgrade or modify your subscription
  4. Update payment methods
