Account Setup
After creating your account, follow these steps to configure SearchFit for your needs.
Creating Your Account
- Visit the sign up page
- Enter your email and create a password, or sign in with Google
- Verify your email address
- Complete your profile setup
Adding Your First Domain
Once logged in, add your primary domain:
- Navigate to Dashboard → Domains
- Click Add Domain
- Enter your domain name
- Optionally verify ownership for additional features
Domain Verification
Verifying domain ownership unlocks:
- Historical tracking data
- Automated monitoring
- Integration with Search Console
- Priority support
Verification methods:
- DNS Record - Add a TXT record to your DNS
- HTML File - Upload a verification file to your site
- Meta Tag - Add a meta tag to your homepage
Configuring Notifications
Stay informed about your AI visibility:
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Choose your notification preferences:
- Email alerts for score changes
- Weekly summary reports
- Competitor movement alerts
- New recommendation notifications
Team Access
Invite team members to collaborate:
- Navigate to Settings → Team
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email and select a role:
- Admin - Full access to all features
- Editor - Can run reports and make changes
- Viewer - Read-only access to reports
Billing Setup
Manage your subscription:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- View your current plan and usage
- Upgrade or modify your subscription
- Update payment methods
